Frequently Asked Questions

FAQ

How do I get a price?

It's immediate! Use our instant quote tool at the top of the page: upload your STL file, choose the material, and the price will be displayed automatically.

What file formats do you accept?

The instant quote tool works with .STL files. If you have .STEP, .OBJ files or technical drawings, please contact us via the form for a manual quote.

What are the maximum print dimensions?

FDM: 350 × 320 × 325 mm
SLA: 218.8 × 122.8 × 220 mm
SLS: 165 × 165 × 300 mm

What level of accuracy can I expect?

Typical tolerances: ±0.1 mm in FDM, ±0.05 mm in SLA and ±0.15 mm in SLS (variations depending on geometry and material).

Do you make models?

Absolutely. Our technologies (especially SLA and SLS) are ideal for producing architectural models, design prototypes and scale models with an impeccable finish.

What are the production lead times?

Most standard orders are produced and shipped within 2 to 5 business days . For large projects or series, we will confirm the exact lead time after the order is placed.

Can I avoid the fees by picking up my order in person?

No. We do not have a physical store open to the public. Standard delivery is included for Canada . For international orders, shipping costs are calculated at checkout.

Do you ship internationally?

Yes! The quote tool will give you the price of the part. A surcharge for international shipping will be calculated and automatically added at the checkout stage .

Are my files confidential?

Absolutely. Your 3D files are stored securely and are used only for the production of your order. They are never shared.

Why does my package have another company's logo?

That's normal! As part of an eco-responsible approach, we reuse clean boxes received from our partners to limit cardboard waste.

What is your commitment to your clients?

Quality and support. For complex projects, we offer a phased approach (MVP) to validate the design before final production.

What is a mechanical designer?

This is the person who transforms an idea into a manufacturable 3D file. We use CAD to create technical models optimized for printing.

Why are you pursuing your studies in robotics engineering?

To further develop my skills and eventually create a robotics company, 3DVertical allows me to meet clients and identify real needs in the industry.

What is the objective of 3DVertical?

Democratizing access to industrial processes (such as SLA and SLS) with optimal quality, while offering expertise in mechanical design.
